At Golden Light Acupuncture, it is my goal to assist you achieve and maintain a harmonious balance that promotes your personal health! I incorporate my rigorous schooling in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with my more recent studies of Japanese / Kiiko-style acupuncture to provide a well rounded treatment approach, tailored to your personal situation. Acupuncture, cupping therapy, herbal medicine, medical massage and manipulation techniques, nutrition therapy, and lifestyle recommendations can benefit you immensely. Whether you need to rehabilitate an injury, seek to optimize your health and/or athletic performance, resolve chronic pain, or desire to proactively maintain your health, my goal is to help you recover, improve, adapt, and optimize yourself!
I am incredibly honored to continue the legacy of Martha Benedict, O.M.D., L.Ac., through my role as an Education Specialist for Benedictine Healing Products. Passionate about her well rounded topicals and tinctures, I incorporate these into my acupuncture practice, as well as working with local vendors to provide ongoing education for BHP's product line.
I worked exclusively in the health care industry for over 15 years, after receiving my BA in Psychology from Lewis and Clark College, graduated with my MTCM (Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine) from Five Branches University, and received my L.Ac. (License as an Acupuncturist) in California. I had two autoimmune complicated personal health crises that led me to my path of healing through addressing the body-mind-spirit connection. And it was later through my introduction to Crossfit at Santa Cruz Central that I discovered the importance of functional fitness as a foundation for a healthy lifestyle, given any age or health condition.
